windowslivemessenger We’ve seen the Windows Live update announced a few days ago and we heard that RIM will offer Windows Live Messenger a few months ago. Well it all works. Do you have a RIM device and want to log in from it to your Windows Live Messenger? Then simply do it now. The Windows Live Messenger client won’t use the data connection but will connect through RIM’s push functionality.

The Messenger client is identical to the desktop version so you won’t have to adjust to anything new. You get the same group chat, status message, chat logs, display picture support, emoticons and file transfers. As for languages, the RIM client is available in various languages: Arabic, Chinese (China), Chinese (Taiwan), Czech, Dutch (Netherlands), English, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.

All you need is a BleckBerry and a Windows Live account to make everything work.
